NOTW #1 ~ Glitter Half Moons

It's time for another post, right? :)

I've been still pretty busy but I'll try to update my blog more often. I feel quilty when I see a number of followers but at the same time I just love to be lazy when I can and do nothing. Seriously, I'm so lazy you can't even imagine. xD

This manicure I wore last week. Simple but elegant! I used loose glitter for half moons I got from BPS, which I used for framed nails. Pretty simple to make one, all you need is patience to place the glitters.

Nail Tek Foundation II
Essence - Rosewood Hood / 2 coats
Essence Better than gel nails Top Sealer

I think I even find the perfect nude for my skintone. It's from Wild Craft LE I randomly picked, but I absolutely love how it looks on my nails!

Inspired by: Sophy Robson EEK Nails

Yap, another inspired by manicure. :) Thanks to everyone who left a comment on my last post, I was so happy when I saw you like it so much and I didn't expect a feedback like that. ^_^

I tried to find more manicures and when I saw this manicure, I had to try it out. It's simple but cute! :L

Here's a picture:
http://www.sophyrobson.com
This manicure was done by successful Sophy Robson, who paints the nails of celebrities. :) All the colors were made just for the Giles SS11 Show.

I tried to match the colors but I just couldn't find any similar blues in my stash. It looks like a blue with green undertones and I don't like them so I picked another one instead.
I made googly eyes with dotting tool and black and white polish. This manicure is so simple but it looks so cute. :)

Candy Water Marble

It's such a grey rainy lazy day today and because I really didn't know what to do with myself, I decided to try water marbling. I used to do more of them in the past and I can't believe I didn't try any since I started this blog. :D So here's my first water marble featured on this blog...

I used some of the colors from my favorite China Glaze collection Up & Away and the final results reminds me of candies. :) It's absolutely not perfect but I'm happy with the final result...

Base:
OPI Nail Envy Nail Strengthener
Water Marble:
China Glaze - Heli-Yum
Beauty Secrets Top Coat Fast Finish Polish Dryer

I'd definitely try water marbling more often, because it really looks cute but I'm too lazy for that. :D What do you think about my manicure? Do you practice water marbling often?

If you want to see tons of amazing tutorials, check Colette and her blog My Simple Little Pleasures and her YouTube channel, because she's definitely a water marble queen. :)

Have a lovely day and thanks for reading! :)

Step by Step: Gold Glittery Zebra Print

I'm seeing Easter nails everywhere but I must say I'm not in Easter mood at all, probably because I still can't believe it's already April. :/ Well, I ate already tons of chocolate eggs. :$ I hope I'll make an Easter mani till next week, when we're celebrating an Orthodox Easter. :)

My nails really make me sad for months now and I can't find a reason why are they peeling so much, so of course I filed them down to nubs again. I have some peelies down to the nail bed so they need to grow out but even when they grow out, they start peeling on the same place. Annoying! :)

Oh well, when I'm having nubs, I tend to use something really neutral or when I'm in the mood, I do something crazy and fun and make them at least prettier with a design. :D So, I had this lovely combination in my minds and it turned out just perfectly.... Just like the title says: Gold Glittery Zebra Print. <3

They look so good on picture. :D It looks like I spent hours on doing them, but I was done so fast - just a fun layering and stamping and you get nails like this. :) It's very similar to the first Purple Sparkly Zebra Print I did months ago. :) I took pictures of all steps so I'm posting them here as a Step by Step "tutorial", but this is far from a tutorial, because it's really really easy. :D But in case someone who doesn't have an idea how to achieve nails like this, I posted all pictures, so more after a click.

Orly - Pure Porcelain

I don't have anything new for you, because I worked on something really special yesterday so I'll show you this mani that I wore weeks ago, right before I shorten my nails. Going through these pictures I thought my nails were too long, but after I shortened them I wanted them back. xo This is another favorite of my from Precious collection - Pure Porcelain.<3

It's more on a thick side just like Fancy Fuchsia, so 2 coats were enough. I added a coat of TC, just to smooth and have that extra shine. I thought this will be more nudish on me but it's more mixed with white, still preeeetty. <3

I was really enjoying this color but later I ruined it with a stamping fail. :D Do you have this color or anything else from this collection? What is your favorite nude color?

Have a nice weekend! :rainbow

OPI - Bubble Bath + Konad

Quick post for today, I have to prepare myself for El Clásico! :e

Bubble Bath is really pretty shade but I decided to stamp it with Admire from China Glaze's Romantique collection. :L Like I said, I can't even stamp with any other polishes so good as with these metallics shades.

Sun
Daylight
I love it. :L It's so soft and pretty, I really need a break from colors sometimes so these kind of shades are really perfect for soft manicures. :)

What do you think? Like it?

HALA REAL MADRID! :P

OPI - Bubble Bath & Haul

After wearing that hot Fancy Fuchsia pink color I decided to pick something subtle and Bubble Bath just pumped out of my stash. :)

I love how these kind of colors looks on my short nails that why I'm sure I'll have this manicure as long as it stays on perfectlly or at least till Friday. :)

Color is so pretty, milky, very soft and light pink creme but opacity isn't its best thing. I added 5 coats, yes, five. :i I was patient because I really love these kind of colors and it dries quickly too but for sure I added 1 coat of Essie - Good To Go. :D

Sun
Daylight
Does anyone know similar shade but more opaque? :)
When I got Bubble Bath from Carolina I compared the bottle with OPI - Sweet Heart and they look quite similar but after seeing pictures, Sweet Heart is definetely more opaque and more towards pastel pink. :) I love both of them so it's totally worth to put 5 coats to get this look. :D

I bought some polishes today for myself because Essence Blossoms etc. finally hit our stores (DM). We had sould out Black&White collection since January there so I'm so happy they finally change it. And I bought Nova from Nina. Thanks! :h

Essence - Bloom-A-Loom
Essence - Forget-Me-Not

They put this new collection today! and when I checked the store at 4PM it was mostly sold out! :( I wanted to buy that ring, liquid blush and more polishes for my swaps but I guess I's late. I hope I'll find more next week. And I'm still wondering why our DM still doesn't have anything from new stuff which Essence released in March... It'll be almost May here and still nothing! What are you waiting for? xo

I hope your Monday is better than mine, I'm going to eat something, watch new episode of Desperate Housewives and go earlier in bed... I still hate mornings, can't wait Friday. :i

OPI - Sweet Heart + Konad

Shiny! was right! Sweet Heart is a nice base for stamping too. :) I'm not posting konadicures together with my base polish just because I usually don't stamp it right after I apply a polish but next day or even later.
I used roses pattern, because it obviously become my favorite pattern, from M65 and China Glaze - Harmony. Like Admire this is also a perfect polish for stamping. I smudge the pattern on my middle finger just a little, oops. :$

Daylight, cloudy day

I definetely need more metallics from Romantique and Khrome in my collection so I could stamp my manicures over and over again, because it's really so easy. 5 minutes and you're done with all 10 fingers! :D That's a record for me! :) I prefer waiting few minutes that pattern is perfectly dry, so the TC doesn't smudge it. I wasn't so patient today. :P

What do you think? Do you have any polishes from Romantique and Khrome collection? Are they all good for stamping?

Nighty night,

OPI - Sweet Heart

It was really hard to decide which one should I use next. :D But because I'm a big fan of pastel pinks I decided to use this cute OPI - Sweet Heart. I love its name. :$ Adora Belle who sent me this beauty matches to its name too, because she is a sweetheart too. :)

It's a beautiful very light creme pink, but it's quite sheer. On some fingers I added 3 and somewhere 4 coats,  because it can be  still streaky after 3, but I usually add thinner coats. To speed up its drying time I used 1coat of Essie G2G. :) The result is stunning. :L

Outside, cloudy day

Window, cloudy day
What do you think about this polish? Is 3+ coats a big no for you?

It's sooo cold outside, no sun and it's snowing a little too! :( Nothing like Spring at all. :)

Essence - Chill Out + Konad

I was so tired all day long, my head had enormous headache so I almost missed daylight and I couldn't take any decent photos of my Konad fail. I don't know what's wrong with me or my stamper but I always smudge the pattern and it doesn't look fine. I need more practice!adus

I used m74 and Nothing Else Metals from Essence Metallics collection over Chill Out. All magnetics are realyl great for stamping. Here is just one bad picture. malu

I really like this pattern but I wish I stamped it better. I'm a big perfectionist when it comes to my nails, so that's the reason I'm not satisfied with this manicure.siul

Do you like this pattern?

Essence - Chill Out

After wearing Cotton Candy I feel so fresh and spring, so I wanted to try another pastel shade. I picked Chill Out - beautiful nude shade, but unfortunately also discontinued. I don't know why Essence stopped selling it, but you made a mistake!adus

I added 3 coats. It looks like creme but it's shimmery, but shimmer is very very tiny and unvisible on nail.

Outside, cloudy day
It's screaming for stamping, do you agree? I'll stamp it tommorow and show you the result. And btw, I wooooooon a giveaway again! I got $30 cuopon code for Born Pretty Store at Katrina's Nail Blog. I will probably also pick something for my giveaway I'm planning to do soon! Woooooohooo! Thank you Katrina! peluk

Take care,
Ivanacium

Essence LE Fairytale - Pixie Dust

Here is my mani that I had it now for a few days on my nails and it's still beautiful. After taking first photo I broke my nail and I just filed them down on the same lenght - very very short. xpastiI really can't have nails with different lenght. I only don't mind when my thumb break then I never filed them short.

Pixie Dust is a warm pink nude with silver shimmer and foil finish from Fairytale collection. Definetely a suble color and easy weareble. I add 2 coats, it dries extremely fast. I like this kind of colors when I don't have time for my manicure or when I take a break from colors.

Flash

It's very shiny and subtle, I really like it!

I also got the last one I want from this collectiontoday - Welcome to wonderland. Yay!ihikhik

Hope you had a nice day!
