Gradient Blue Zebra Print

Gradient + Animal Print = Would that work together? Well, I wasn't sure until I tried this yesterday. :D

I wanted to do a blue gradient for a while now so yesterday, when the day was so rainy and boring, I decided to do something blue. ^_^

I started with 2 coats of base color ~ H&M - Denim Dreams. I got this polish ages ago from Pink_Diamond and I'm really happy to have this beautiful baby blue creme nail polish. <3 Then I sponged with Denim Dreams and Essence's Walk on Air. This one is from their new range and it's definitely a must have! I love true blues without any hints of greens, that's why I adore this one! :)

When the gradient was dry, I double stamped zebra print from BM-223, first with silver from Essence Stamp me! Silver and again with dark blue Essence Just Rock it. I love how this dark blue looks over the silver. :L

I didn't play with CS3 for ages so I decided to add zebra print to the background too. :P

My Top 10 Favorite Nail Polishes 2010 Part I.

Did you ever try to pick 5 favorite polishes? But just 5! I tried... But when I named 5 I wasn't satisfied with my pick because I've like 15 or even more that's also my fav. First I wanted to show you top 5, but I really can't name just 5 so here is my top 10 favorite nail polishes for this year. And even this was very very tough.

I will write my top 10 in 2 parts, because I'm really avoiding writing long posts. Let's start... In no specific order. You can see my previous swatches of all of them by clicking on its name.

China Glaze - Something Sweet
Up&Away Collection, Spring 2010

Something sweet is a beautiful pastel pink creme polish. I have many of pastel pinks in my stash, but application of some pastel is difficult and that's the reason why I just love this polish. It's enough to add 2 coats, no streaks at all, so you don't even have to be careful. Brush is great, colors are amazing, that's why I just love China Glaze polishes and I have so many of my WL.

H&M - Blue My Mind

You probably know that I'm not a big blue lover. But... When I saw gorgeous pictures of this one all around I fall in love with. Blue my Mind is a gorgeous blue creme nail polish. I don't like brush of H&M polishes but it's worth to be patient and you can apply it just perfectly. For those who can't get this one, you can pick also Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Pacific Blue because these two are twins. If you're a blue lover, you really must have a blue like this!

OPI - DS Extravagance

Extravagance is a OPI polish from a Designer Series collection - glitter, glamorous magenta. It has purple and red shimmer with tiny holo effect. Great application, gorgeous color,... Love at first sight! I feel so good with this polish on my nails.

OPI - Mad as a Hatter
Alice in Wonderland Collection

Mad as a Hatter... A glitter bomb that I just adore. It was really hard to get this beauty, because I wanted it when it was already sold out everywhere or it was selling for ridiculous prices. I paid just a little too much, but I really don't regret a cent, note to myself - if you like it, get it immediately! I'm so happy this silvery multicolor glitter love is now all mine.
I don't know why, but when I saw OPI bottle, I get association on elegant and classy.

Nubar - Petunia Sparkle
Sparkles Collection, Spring 2010

Pink + glitter... Perfect match! Petunia Sparkle is so sparkly and so beautiful. Application is a little tricky, but nothing that we, polish addicts, can't handle. It dries in kind of matte, so with TC is this beauty much, much better. I really want more glitters in my stash. If you're going crazy with removing glitters, use foil method and all your problems are solved.

For Audrey & Bella's Choice Comparison

I give up from doing a comparisons, because I can't capture the real difference between them.

I apply 2 coats of each, For Audrey and Party Blue are still streaky with just 1 but I didn't have any problems with application, Bella's Choice could work also with one, if you're very careful and you apply one thicker coat.

In RL is difference between For Audrey and Bella's Choice more obvious, BC is darker and greener then FA. If you like turquoise color, you need both, believe me! I add Party blue to show you the difference between pastel blue and turquoise.

What's next? IDK, maybe a taupe color?

H&M - Bella's Choice

Today I have one H&M polish which I got from lovely Flavia in swap. I don't know why I didn't use it before, but here it is.

I add 2 coats. Application was great, I just don't like brush. Bella's choice is more green than blue - turquoise I guess?

It reminds me on a China Glaze - For Audrey, so I took a photo of bottles and I add a Maybelline Mini Colorama - Party blue - a sky blue color, so you can see the difference between them. For Audrey is a little bit more lighter than Bella's Choice. If you want to see the comparison on my nails, please let me know.

H&M - Sinful Señorita

What a lovely sunny day! Perfect for holo! Tina from Fleur's nails&stuff send me this beautiful holo beauty! So, thank you 10000000× times!I'm really in love with this one!

Pink & holo - what more should I want? I add 1 coat, application is great, and G2G. Señorita is so lovely, I love her name too.

This one is perfect for sunny days, but in the shadow she also looks stunning! My phone doesn't like holo.. It's really hard to capture rainbow effect, so just imagine holo effect on these pictures.

H&M Summer Nails - Neon Pink

I totally forgot to upload pictures of this beauty. So, let me show you mini H&M polish - Neon Pink from Summer Nails set. I got it in swap with Flavia and I love it.

In set are 4 mini neons - orange, pink, purple and yellow. And I picked pink.

Not really a neon, kind of jelly or creme, I don't know, and I like it. I add 2 coats, really great application and I like it a lot. A love the tiny bottles, they're so cute!

H&M - Blue my Mind

Here are the swatches of the most beautiful blue shade I have ever seen - EVER!
H&M - Blue my mind I got I a swap package with Flavia, and thanks again, I really really love it!

I add 2 coats, love the application, it dries quick... I just don't like H&M brushes, they are too thick! Anyway, here are the pictures, there will be a picture spam, I really couldn't stop taking pictures of my nails. Can't wait till my nails grow!

It was really hard to catch the real color, because my phone didn't want to stop changing it like on the last photo where color is too bright I think. And the pictures are so bad, sorry!
