Just checkin' in...

... to say hi to all my old and new followers. :) My life is really busy atm so I'm not really able to blog as before + I have some major issues with my lap top. I still paint my nails all the time of course, but I'm sharing pictures mostly on Instagram - IvanaThinksPink if you would like to follow me there.

Anyway, my nails were pretty long but when I started with a job few weeks ago, I broke every possible piece of my nail so I'm stucked with nubs! They're peeling and so weak but I hope I'll get them back into last condition in a few weeks. I admire all of you who can have long nails and work with your hands a lot! :)

I'll share some pics from Instagram so you can see some of my manicures... :P

Which one is your favorite? As you can see, I'm still a big fan of pink! :P :L

1 Dot, 2 Dots, 3 Dots, .... ∞

Sarah from Chalkboard Nails is hosting a lovely nail art contest. :) I usually don't enter any contests, because themes are way to complicated for me or I just don't have time to actually make something out. :) But I really loved the Sarah's theme: The Dotting Tool. Everyone knows how to use a dotting tool or if you don't have it, you can use a toothpick or a bobby pin. Simple but you can get a lovely polka dot pattern. <3 I'm a big fan of polka dots so I almost made a plain manicure with dots for this contest but then I decided to challenge myself.

I always wanted to try this out but I never actually had patience for this. I came home in a bad mood because of my exams yesterday, so I decided to do something with my nails and cheer me up. I had a bad cut with a razor few days ago so I shorten them as short as possible again.

So, I started with a coat of BS. So "naked" nails, dotting tool, a white and bunch of pink and  polishes. :D Another manicure that just screams my name. :$

I added dots on background with CS3, I just loved the heart theme before and I can't stop trying more and more. :) Pictures aren't best, because this weather makes everything just worse. :(

Daylight
I'm holding China Glaze - Empowerment

All the polishes I used are on the picture below. :) I used those two sided dotting tool for dots.

China Glaze - Snow, Something Sweet, Empowerment, Sugar High, Laced Up,  Rich & Famous, Heli-Yum
Orly - Fancy Fuchsia, Frolic
Catrice - Hot or Not
p2 - Crazy Love
Essie - French Affair, Splash of Grenadine
Essence - Very Berry, Mr. Big

It's not hard to make a manicure like this. You just keep adding dots until your nail is fully covered. :) You probably need a bit of patience and that's it. :)

I'm not expecting to win anything, because lots of gorgeous manicures already entered but I had a great time doing this manicure. So if you're a dotting tool fan or you would like to try something out, enter Sarah's contest too!

Let me know what do you think? Will you try it out? If you don't like pink, you can choose your fave color, I'm really wondering how would this manicure look in purple or even blue. :D I'd need more blues in my stash to get a manicure like this. :D

Call me when you find Unicorn Puke

It's time for another manicure I'll probably wear until it totally chips. :D

My hand is much better now and I'm happy I waited to fully recover before coming back. :) I still have problems with lifting things and I can't move my wrist up and down,  but it's much better as it was. :e

I also file my nails down just because I had problems with my index nail, I had a tiny cut on the side but I always manage to file it to a smooth edge. But it kept breaking my nail and everytime I spotted the cut, I was so nervous so last time I decided to file all my nails down. As you probably know I prefer long nails on me, but I hate if I have peels or weird borders. :$

I didn't know what to wear so my mom chose for me.Well I pick 2 of them and she pick the one. :)
p2 - Call me! & Cult Nails - Unicorn Puke
She picked p2 - Call Me! - dark plum creme. It looks much lighter in the bottle on the sun than on nails. :) I got it from Adora Belle but I didn't hear from her for ages, hope she's okay! :( I added 2 coats for full opacity and it dries pretty fast. Since I've seen Amygrace's nails she did for my guest post, I feel in love with sponged flakies so I decided to try my first Cult Nails tiny bottle of Unicorn Puke I got from Iris at Polish Amor ♥. Thank  you Iris for sharing your bottle of Unicorn Puke with me. <3 Unicorn Puke or also Clairvoyant has multicolored flakies in a purple jelly base - you can find blue, green, orange, purple flakies inside, all I can say is gooooorgeous! <3

Cult Nails - Unicorn Puke aka Clairvoyant / sponged

It's soooo pretty. <3 Unicorn Puke is really an amazing polish. :) I hope I'll get my hands on more awesome polishes from Cult Nails. :) I should definitely wear dark color more often, especially when my nails are so short. :$

What do you think about this combination? :) Thanks for reading! :rainbow I should take a nap to catch some sleep and study! I have an exam on Saturday - not good. :(

Swap with Stéphanie from So Nailed

Last week I got a nice package from Stéphanie. She did a guest post on my blog with Glitter in the Air and I already told you she has really amazing blog. You can see her work at So Nailed. <3

If you can remember, I wanted Teenage Dream after it's almost sold out. I didn't know that they'll re-release Katy Perry collection again, so I's quite desperate but S. picked it up for me. That was months ago and since then we've became a really good friends. :) She's so nice and sweet, and here's what she sent me.

When I opened the package I's blown away by cute packaging. <3

I almost didn't want to open anything because it's packed so beautiful. <3 This dark navy blue with gold polka dots wrap paper is my favorite. I already want to recreate a mani with those 2 colors but I don't own any dark blue colors, oops. :$

Here's my new baby. <3 I saw lots of swatches but I didn't know that this beauty has so strong holographic glitter. I really can't wait to try it!
OPI - Teenage Dream
Here're beauties she sent me to try out. :)

Park Avenue 05
Claire's
HEMA 205
Deborah Milano 838
p2 - Gigantic

Of course she didn't forget to add chocolate. <3 Noses're so delicious, nomnomnom. xP

I also got a pink pencil with white dots, perfume samples and Claire's lip balm, HEMA strawberry mask, but I didn't find them in my messy room when I's taking pictures. :/

Thanks S. <3

I've so many new polishes to try out so I really don't know where to start. xo What would you love to see first? :)

p2 - Silver Blast & Golden Rush Crackling TC

When I woke up, I saw a package for me and it's from Linnie at Linnieke.com, Nailpolish and more.... You should check her blog, her nails are so beautiful. :L I got her e-mail last week and she said I won her giveaway! How awesome is that! :D And few hours before her e-mail I's really thinking how I didn't won any giveaways lately. :D Here's what I got :party :

p2 - Golden Rush crackling TC
p2 - Silver Blast crackling TC
p2 - Powerful Orange (TE Your wild side)
Essence - Make me Holo (TE Black and White)
Thanks Linnie. :k

Yuuuup, p2 crackles which I wanted soooo bad but since p2 isn't available here I couldn't get them. I'm still totally in love with p2 polishes, which I got from Adora Belle, although I still didn't have time to try them all. :D I think I've so many untrieds in my stash. xo

I'm still wearing my Teeez mani but I's planning to remove it today. But then I get the idea, what if I tried my new crackles on 2 fingers to see how they look like on me. :D

Let's start with my favorite, Silver Blast. It works like mostly all crackles, you have to apply a coat over a dry polish. If you apply thicker coat, crackles'll be bigger and if you apply thinner coat, crackles'll be tinier. Their applications is amazing, I applied a thick coat on my ring finger. It dries matte so I added a coat of TC to make it shinier and sparkly. :L

Sun
Sun - Blurry
And next it Golden Rush. Same as Silver Blast but in gold on my middle finger. :L
Sun
Sun - Blurry
I look more tanned on last 2 pictures because the sun was going down so the light was more yellow as before. :)

I really love how they look like and I can't wait to try them as a full mani. :D I's actually quite sure I don't need any crackles from new China Glaze's collection but now I really really don't need them at all. Crackles are now really everywhere, what if someone would start a holographic phase or flakies? I wouldn't mind! :L So yes PLEASE. :L

Do you have p2 crackles? If you can get it, don't hesitate, you won't be sorry. I don't know how much they cost, probably not much so you really need them in your life, especially if you're searching for gold or silver crackles. Bingo!

p2 - Pink it up! + Konad & S-he Nail Polish Corrector Pen

Like I said I upgraded Pink it up! Last week I was searching for S-he - 427 (pink holographic) in few drugstores but it was sold out everywhere. At least I found last bottle of S-he - 333. It's metallic pink polish perfect for stamping. It has frosty finishy, that's why I'll use it just for stamping. :D
I couldn't decide what pattern should I use, that's why I picked one of my fav roses pattern from m65. You can't go wrong with this pattern. :$

Sun
Shade
Daylight
I'll probably have it on my nails fow whole week if it'll stay on my nails, because I really love the combo. What do you think? :h
Prettyfulz asked me how I keep polish in a "perfect" line by cuticles and here is my secret. :) I usually use angled brush but I can't find it that's why I had to buy this nail polish corrector pen. I can be very messy with applying nail polish so this is a "must have" for me. This or angled brush, anything works just perfectly. :)
I don't know which other brands except Essence have something similar like this, but I find it very helpful. Since S-he products (which are sold in DM in some European countries) are on sale now I bought it for a quite low price (less than 2€). You get also 3 back up tips when you ruin one. It looks like those neon markers with chisel tip but more pointed, it's really easy to work with.

I use it when nail polish is totally dry or as soon as I apply a nail polish and it's still wet so I don't make even bigger mess with. :i I hope this was helpful. :)

I've to wake up early and I don't want to, I'm really not morning person. :c I wish I could work at night! xo

Sweet dreams,
Ivana :k

p2 - Pink it up!

What a sunny day today, again. :e Loooooove it! :L
It's time for something bright, right? :) I was neglecting my new p2 goodies, which I got from lovely Adora Belle, because I really got so many new polishes and I always don't know what to pick next. :) But it's time for p2 now. :P
Pink it up! is a bright reddish pink creme, very opaque. You can get away with only one coat, but I wasn't careful with my application, that's why I added 2. First I thought it was more coral but after putting it on my nails I saw it's not at the coral side, because corals just don't look great on me. :D
Application is great, brush is a little wider and I like it - but it's soooo hard to capture its real color. xo I did my best but I still think it's prettier in RL (I add another photo, I think color is most accurate on 1st picture).

Sun
Daylight

It's really pretty and bright color perfect for these sunny days, what do you think? :L I'll probably stamp something over this beauty to make it a little more interesting. :P

Oh, I'm on Twitter now (IvanaThinksPink), well still learning how to use it. :$ I started following some of you already, but if you'd like to follow me, please click on the picture below. :P

Happy Sunday!

RAOK from Adora Belle

A week ago one lovely lady Adora Belle contacted me by e-mail saying she has one extra bottle of  Catrice - Hot or Not, which I have on my WL for ages but I just didn't have time to pick it up, and she would love to send me this beauty, because she saw it on my WL. I didn't want that she pays for shipping all the way from Germany but she said she would love to do that, because she's a nail polish addict too - like we all are, right?  and she know how it feels when you want something badly. :D We exchange some e-mails, she said she send it and included some new p2, L.A. Colors and I expect just a few polishes. :)
I didn't even know that the package'll be here so soon, so today when I got it I was blown away with all these beauties I got - and there were sooooooo many polishes!! :D I though I was dreaming! :L I still think that! I just had to share this pictures with you. :)

Pictures are not 100% color accurate, I'll make some decent swatches soon! As you can see I got soooooo many p2 polishes - I have just one and I'm quite excited to try them all - some of them are new from latest p2 product change, some of them are old, that's why we have 2 polishes with same name but totally different color: Call me! My first and only MNY polish (dark shimmery purple) and one holographic polish (Rainbow), one beautiful OPI, Essence, L.A. Colors,... :L

I also got lots of perfume testers and some stickers with a lovely letter! :h

This was a big surprise for me! I'm watching them on the table and still not believing that they are all just mine! :L Thank you, thank you Adora Belle for this great surprise although you even didn't have to send me so much! :) Thank you again! :h :k

Would you be interested in p2 week?

And I got a "job" at our administrative unit for April today! It was my lucky day today though. :)

Take care,

p2 - Lovely

Today I'll will show you my first p2 polish, which I get from very lovely girl LadyPure.peluk Since I've seen a swatch of Lovely at Parokeets, I knew I want it! And now I got it!!

Lovely is very special light pink polish with jelly finish. It needs 3 coats for almost total opacity and I add 1 coat of G2G. I'm so happy that I got this topcoat, because now applying 3+ coats isn't a problem anymore! senyumkenyit

It's raining outside, so pictures are taken on a cloady and rainy weather.

Do you like it? I fell in love with this one and now I want more jellies in my little collection. malu I wish we had p2 polishes in DM and not S-he, because p2 are definetely better and more interesting, so please DM bring p2 polishes in our stores too!doa

I'm feeling better now, I was relaxing and sleeping a lot, I'm still taking medication and I have to go to doctor on Monday again. Hopefully I will be healthy till then.senyum

Wheather is going crazy here! It's been raining since Friday and there is a lot of floods everywhere. xpasti

Hope you have a nice and relaxing Saturday!
