Back to the 50's with Lightning Bolt

I didn't wear this because I added a coat of super pretty jelly and made jelly sandwich but I took some photos to show you how Lightning Bolt look like. It's a white creme crackle from China Glaze. I don't know why but I'm so over these crackles, I want something fresh, new, no more new crackles, please. xo

It dries fast and matte, I added a coat over Back to the 50's from Essence.

China Glaze - Lightning Bolt / 1 coat

What's your favorite crackle? Do you want more crackles in your collection?

That's all for today, thanks for reading and leaving a comment! :rainbow

Cracklly Sandwich

Yesterday I's inspired by Stéphanie from So Nailed and her amazing manicure. I saw it before at Fashion Polish but I wasn't so interested probably because it's not in pink. :D
I do not have such a talent for pictures like Stéphanie (if you don't know what I'm talking about, just check her blog ;) ) but I did my best to catch this pretty combination. :D

I already had Back to the 50's on my nails, I'm actually quite happy that I'm not the only one who feels too young with red on my nails. :$ I didn't want to remove it so I decided to try Cracklly (Crackle-Jelly) Sandwich.

I layered one coat of write crackle Lightning Bolt from China Glaze and then 2 coats of OPI sorbet from Texas collection - Do you Think I'm Tex-y?. Do you Think I'm Tex-y? is a really lovely delicious berry pink jelly, I can never have enough of jellies. :L They dry fast and they're sooooo shiny, that's why I love them. :$

It looks so squishy, like delicios candy. :L Here's the final result. :)

What do you think? Do you like it? :) Did you ever try a layering like this? What's your favorite jelly? :)

Replay with Pink Fizz Instant Nail Effect

Instant Nail Effect aka Crackle time. :D So many different names of same pattern, kind of confusing. :) My inspirations was those vintage roses, which I wanted to create but I wasn't in the mood for nail art. I wanted to try Studio M polish which mostly of you have suggested but the weather wasn't beautiful so I spare it for another sunny day. :)

Pink Fizz Instant Nail Effect from Barry M is another pink crackle, dries matte, its crackles can be really bigger if you apply really thick coat like I did on my right hand but it's not fotogenic as my left hand. :D I'll definitely show you that once, because I think it's the prettiest crackle I've at the moment.

I won't talk much... Here're the pictures...

Daylight
I'm loving it so much so I decided to make a close up. :D As you can see it's matte, over a shiny polish looks kind of plastic finish too and like I draw it. :D

Sun
Pictures with TC after a click. :)

p2 - Silver Blast & Golden Rush Crackling TC

When I woke up, I saw a package for me and it's from Linnie at Linnieke.com, Nailpolish and more.... You should check her blog, her nails are so beautiful. :L I got her e-mail last week and she said I won her giveaway! How awesome is that! :D And few hours before her e-mail I's really thinking how I didn't won any giveaways lately. :D Here's what I got :party :

p2 - Golden Rush crackling TC
p2 - Silver Blast crackling TC
p2 - Powerful Orange (TE Your wild side)
Essence - Make me Holo (TE Black and White)
Thanks Linnie. :k

Yuuuup, p2 crackles which I wanted soooo bad but since p2 isn't available here I couldn't get them. I'm still totally in love with p2 polishes, which I got from Adora Belle, although I still didn't have time to try them all. :D I think I've so many untrieds in my stash. xo

I'm still wearing my Teeez mani but I's planning to remove it today. But then I get the idea, what if I tried my new crackles on 2 fingers to see how they look like on me. :D

Let's start with my favorite, Silver Blast. It works like mostly all crackles, you have to apply a coat over a dry polish. If you apply thicker coat, crackles'll be bigger and if you apply thinner coat, crackles'll be tinier. Their applications is amazing, I applied a thick coat on my ring finger. It dries matte so I added a coat of TC to make it shinier and sparkly. :L

Sun
Sun - Blurry
And next it Golden Rush. Same as Silver Blast but in gold on my middle finger. :L
Sun
Sun - Blurry
I look more tanned on last 2 pictures because the sun was going down so the light was more yellow as before. :)

I really love how they look like and I can't wait to try them as a full mani. :D I's actually quite sure I don't need any crackles from new China Glaze's collection but now I really really don't need them at all. Crackles are now really everywhere, what if someone would start a holographic phase or flakies? I wouldn't mind! :L So yes PLEASE. :L

Do you have p2 crackles? If you can get it, don't hesitate, you won't be sorry. I don't know how much they cost, probably not much so you really need them in your life, especially if you're searching for gold or silver crackles. Bingo!

Broken Hearted, Crushed Candy and Virtual Violet

I have another crackle manicure for you today. :) I started using them more often - because they look like they'll become too thick to apply in the bottle and because I can easily hide a tip wear. :)

Virtual Violet didn't last long on me, I think I had chips and very visible tip wear the other day so I decided to add some crackles. :D I used Schotch tape to make those straight lines - Broken Hearted is on my ring finger and Crushed Candy on others. :) I accidentaly put Broken Hearted on the opposite side of my nail, but I must say I liked it even more because of that. :$

I really loved this combination! :L On the fist picture below you can even see some holographic glitter. :D

Sun
Daylight
That's how I's wearing it for few days more. :) I don't know why, but I can't prepare myself to change my mani every other day like I used to. :D I wore my manicures for whole week or even more past 2 months so I'm still not used to change my mani if it's still perfect. :i So if I don't post every other day, you know what's the problem. :P

What do you think about this manicure? Do you like crackles? Or not? :)

Have fun,
Ivana :k

Essence You Belong To Me & Crack me! Black

Although I liked this color I decided to try how Essence Crack me! Black looks over You Belong To Me. I'm actually so bored with all crackles, because almost every brand has some. I want something new, not just crackles in one million different colors. :i
I got both to try out and here is Crack me! Black. Like almost all crackles, you must apply a coat over any dry polish. I tried China Glaze's crackles and their application is quite thick and this one isn't thick at all. It's so smooth, you can apply it so easily. Great job, Essence!
It dries fast and it's very pigmented. Patterns of crackles are different than China Glaze's so it just depends, what you like more. I really love China Glaze's crackles but love Essence's formula. :P

It's dries matte so if you prefer shiny version, you can always apply a TC. :)

What do you think? Do you like these kind of crackles or do you prefer China Glaze, OPI, Nicole by OPI, Barry M, LCN, Models Own, Golden Rose, etc. etc. etc... :D

A tiny picture spam, but I just couldn't decide which one to show you. :) I'm actually writing this post for an hour, my head is crazy, it seems like I forgot all words in English. :D I also spilled out a bottle of 108 Degrees today... I was sooooooooo mad! xo Not because I ruined the carpet but because I spilled one of most  beautiful polish. There's still a lot left but still... I'm so clumsy sometimes. xo

Broken Hearted Nova

Woohoo, my last exam was today! I was soooo in a bad mood today, like really really bad - although I passed 2 exams and I got a great mark of my term paper, I's so without energy today... It's even more dissapointing because I might fail at my last exam but okay... We'll see, I hope this bad feeling'll go away... Now I'm patiently waiting for results of 2 exams... I think it will take a while because one professor is somewhere on the other side of this world and one always takes his time for checking them... xo
And the day was even worse, when I went from home to capital, it started raining like craaaaaaazy, when something goes wrong, everything everything goes. :D I's wet, cold,... :ice xo But I survived. :D
I didn't change my mani for almost half and a week now and Catherine Arley 670 still looks "perfect" - there is tipwear of course which is almost invisible because polish is so light, just my nails has grown so I can see that not so tiny gap between cuticles and polish. :D But I'm removing it tommorow. :e

So for today I decided to show you my ooold mani, I took this pictures on 18th May, so yeah, OLD. :D I already showed you Nova, I added a coat of China Glaze's Broken Hearted when she started chipping after few days. I really love crackles, because I can easily hide chips and I can totally wear my mani few days more. :)

I recently saw large pictures on some blogs and I'm totally loving them. :L Do you like larger pictures? Or not?

Thanks for your sweet comments on my Franken post, I's so happy to see that you like it too! :) I'm so behind with replying on comments, but I'm sure I'll have plenty of time right now to catch them up.

What do you think? Is Nova the only one who looks nice even Broken Hearted? :P

Now it's time for a looooooooooooong sleep! :d

Polka dots with Crushed Candy

Here I am so tired but with "new" manicure. :) My Polka Dots manicure was so cute and like I said I wanted to last till Friday... It started chipping next day I made it but I always fixed it  with another layer of polish and dots but because I'm so tired today  I wasn't in a mood to make a new mani that's why I layered over a crackle which is really perfect for hiding tip wear. :)

I picked China Glaze Crackle glaze Crushed Candy. :L It's so beautiful turquoise, it looks almost like For Audrey but For Audrey is lighter and more blue. :brow I actually don't like how I applied it, because I wasn't careful but it will have to wait till tomorrow or Saturday. I love China Glaze's crackles, thank you so much Carolina for sending all beauties to me. :h

Daylight
So bad it wasn't a sunny day today so I took pictures outside on a daylight. It looks fun and not pink like usually. :)

I can't tell how happy I'm that tommorow is Friday. :D I can't wait to slep all day long! :i

Today is a really special day for me. :$

Funky Dunkey with a Broken Hearted Treasure

I'm trying not to change my manicure so often because my pointer is still peeling a bit and I still don't want to shorten them all. :D I hope it'll grow out soon so I could fill them down little by little and have strong nails.  :$ I'm using Nail Tek II Intensive Therapy at the moment, I'll probably make a post about this therapy but later. Now it's too quick to say anything. :)

I wanted to try one of my crackles so I picked Broken Hearted and layered it over Funky Dunky with Hidden Treasure. :L Broken Hearted dries matte so I added one coat of Nail Tek to have shiny nails.

Broken Hearted dries extremly fast so you have to be quick with application. I wasn't even careful how I applied thic crackle - just be sure you have enough polish on the brush and apply it on nail quickly. And then the magic happens. :i

Sun

I really love this effect and combination with flakies. :L You can expect lots of crackled manicure in the future. :e

Tommorow I've lectures again and I hope that profesor will show up this time. :i Or..... :brow

Kelier Crack Polish - Purple

It's time for a Purple Crackle. It works like Red (pink!) crackle, just the brush is even worse, kind of turned up, total disaster.
My phone doesn't love purples so it's more blue than purple on my pictures. In RL is definetely warmer and pretty purple creme.
For the base color I used 1 coat of Essence - Black Hype from their Black & White collection - a white creme with kind of plastic finish. This is the worst white polish I've ever tried. tension

Sun
Daylight
I didn't apply TC on these pictures. They're really hard to remove, but when I tried foil method it goes off quickly and smoothly just like the glitter. I'm really avoiding rubbing my nails with remover so the foil method is the best discovery ever. senyum

What do you think? Like it or not? With a perfect color combination they really look cool. I just wish the brush was better.

Kelier Crack Polish - Red

Lovely Jessica from Born Pretty Store sent me a lot of new goodies to try out. Let's start with crackle polish I was most excited.senyum

This is Kelier Crack Polish in Red. Color definetely isn't red but shimmery hot pink. I applied 2 coats of Cheers to you by China Glaze's last Holiday collection - silver foil polish. I waited just a few minutes so the second layer was half dry and then I applied 1 coat of crackle polish. You must apply it over not fully dry manicure or the crackle won't stay on your nail. When I got it I applied it over my dry manicure and I could wipe off the pieces of crackle. ihikhik
I really don't like the brush - It's imprecise, plastic and nothing special, but you don't have to be careful while you're applying the crackle. I recommend you to clean the cuticle line quickly, because later it's really hard to remove crackle polish. I'm using a nail polish remover without aceton, but probably it would go faster with acetone.
This crackle doesn't start crackling quickly like OPI's, Barry M, etc. so you have to wait for few minutes or use a hair dryer like I was, so the process was even quicker. ihikhik
I didn't apply any layer of TC, but if you want that your manicure last longer, you should. After long shower pieces of crackles fell off the nail, so don't forget to use a coat of TC to seal the crackle on the nail.
If you want wider crackles apply a thick coat and if you want more crackles apply thinner coat and then the magic happens.

Daylight
Sun
Shade
After using the crackle I recommend you to clean up the neck of the bottle, because it dries fast and when I opened a bottle there was a big piece of dry polish. It could seal the bottle.

I really like this kind of crackle effect, what do you think? Which one do you prefer more - this one or OPI's Black Shatter and similar? If it comes in pink, I really don't mind what kind of crackle it is.

You can buy this crackle here in 7 different colors (use a cuopon IVANA and get 10% discount), you can also enter my giveaway, where I'm offering 3 of them - this one, purple and blue one.

Tnx for watching,
Ivanacium
