Another tutorial I wanted to make was Chanel Inspired nails I did a while ago. I decided to go with same colors as before, because I loved it and now I'm loving it even more, because my nails are longer now. :i

This video was easy to film and edit and I hope you'll like it. :$
I feel so elegant with this mani. :D
Nail Tek Foundation 2 China Glaze - Cheers to You / 2 coats
Let me know if you have already tried it out and what color combo is your favorite. :)
I think I'm done with video tutorials for some time now, because I have no idea what to film next. If there's a video you would like to see, let me know.
Few days ago I was spending my time on Tumblr checking nail art pictures, when I spotted this gorgeous manicure. Of course I googled more for details and after seeing more detailed pictures, I knew I had to try it myself. The manicure I'm talking about was done by Chanel and here's a picture.
http://www.vogue.co.uk
For the autumn/winter 2012-13 couture show, nails were painted in
a limited-edition Silver shade from 2007, before spring 2012's May was
applied in an oval shape.
Two colors that were used on Chanel Haute Couture Fall 2012 runway were Silver (2007, discontinued) and May (Spring 2012).
I don't own any of those, well I actually don't have any Chanel's nail polishes, because they're too expensive, so I decided to make something similar. :i
Two colors I decided to use were China Glaze Cheers to You and OPI Sparrow me the Drama. This is some kind of ruffian manicure but a lot easier version, because there is more free edge on sides of nails and with a flat brush like OPI has, you're done in 3 brush strokes. :)
I made lines even cleaner with brush soaked in remover. I gently removed the pink where needed without ruining the silver foil underneath, because foils really stick on nails. Of course you can always apply top coat over silver and before pink. to be really sure you won't ruin the base color with brush and remover.
I'm very excited to post this manicure today and I hope you'll like it too. :i I did my best to show you my both hands, but nothing can't compare to the original though... So, all you need is a metallic or foil silver and bubblegum pink and you can rock these as models did. ^_^
Let me know what do you think about Chanel's nails, would you wear them? :) Thanks for reading! :h
Edit - 20h September 2012 ~ Adding video tutorial :)
I didn't plan doing any skittles manicure for this Valentine's day because I'm not having so many plates to play with like last year. :D But yesterday after small talk with Liz on Twitter I decided to make at least something like last year. :D So I checked all plates I have and this is what I came up with....
All the colors and image plates I used are in the description under the photos so I won't write them here again. I choose dotted bow and hearts, sponged glitter and lovely stripe pattern,...Of course, you can wear one pattern for a full manicure nail or skittles like me. :D I did just my left hand because I'm planning to do more manicures so today I was walking around with only one hand polished, oops. :$
Here's the final result. :$ And of course, I had to add hearts one the first pictures in CS3 again! I just love how cute they are! :L

I really can't decide what's my favorite design, because I'd wear all this patterns as full manicure for sure. <3 The pink beads I added on my middle nails started staining after applying TC so I'm wondering how do you prevent that? It happened now with pink and purple beads a while ago with different TCs. :/ But if I don't layer a TC over them, they start falling much faster...
What do you think about this skittle manicure?? :) Thanks for reading! :rainbow
Okay, another post done... Now it's time for me to play with statistics.. It's midnight and I love studying at night, because everyone including our little devil is sleeping, so I have my own peace. :D
I owe you swatches of Stargazer #307, right? :) As I told you before, I got this polish from Esther at Fab Fingertips months ago and never had a chance to try it out. I wanted Space Cadet (Orly) for ages so Esther kindly sent me this polish instead, because it's supposed to be Space Cadet's dupe. :) Thanks Esther! <3
Stargazer #307 is more on a sheer side, I think I needed 4 coats for full opacity but it's definitely worth it. I like everything about this polish except the green shade which was visible most of the times under lamps and it drove me crazy, because I can't stand green on my nails. :) I will have to wear it on a daylight to see if I'll change my minds. :D
This beauty is multichrome foil with teal base - you can spot green, pink, purple, yellow and bronze color. I took all this pictures under daylight bulb.
I wasn't satisfied with pictures and my fingers posing, that's why I made this collage of pics to show you how green can this polish be. :D
I'm really loving Elsa's round pictures, hope she won't mind if I start using them too. :$
Nail Tek - Foundation 2
Stargazer - #307 / 4 coats
What do you think? It's also great base for stamping like I showed you here. :)
Do you own Space Cadet or any of its dupes? :) Like I said, it's way to green for my taste so I'm having bigger hopes for Models Own - Pinky Brown. :$ What's your favorite multi or duochrome?
I can't believe it's the last day of 2011! :o Time flies by sooooooo fast. :) I hope you're spending the last day with the ones you love. I'm spending a night with my BFF. :)
I didn't have a nail polish on my nails for two weeks now, well if we're not counting the base coat and I didn't want to have naked nails tonight, that's why I decided to paint my nails with something I love - glitter! <3
I spent an hour on this manicure, because my right hand still isn't fully recoverd but it was worth it. I wanted to post this manicure yesterday but I smashed another daylight bulb so I had to wait the day to come. I'm glad I did, because I caught sunshine! <3
I added 1 coat of China Glaze - Midnight Kiss - shimmery gold foil, just to have a similar base color. Then I added 2 coats of Milani Jewel FX in Gold and then another few drops to cover the empty space. I finished manicure with layer of TC.
Result? Is amaaaaaazing. :L I fell in love in a same second I saw it on a daylight. So sparkly, so amazing. :L I'm not worried about removal, because foil method can solve all problems. xD

Bebo loves it too. :i
See how amazing this polish is? I think I emptied a quarter of bottle but I have a back up so no worries. :P What do you think? Isn't just perfect for tonight? <3
What's on your nails today? Did you pick something sparkly, holographic or just a creme? Thanks for reading and see you in 2012! :party
I got tipwear quite soon with Planks a Lot so I just had to do something to cover it. I wasn't in the mood for removing whole manicure, so I decided to do some sponged tips. If you're looking for a tutorial, I recommend you to visit The Polished Perfectionst and her great How To: Sponged Tips Tutorial. <3
I took Color Club - Wild at Heart and sponged it on nail tip going toward the cuticle and Kiko - #278 known as Violet Orchid Microglitter (violet foil glitter with a tiny duochrome effect) mostly on the tip of my nail. It's lighter as Wild at Heart so it gives it an extra sparkle, which was imposible to capture on the photo.
What do you think? Do you like these kind of manicures? I really like them and they're also great for hiding tipwear so you don't have to remove your manicure few more days. :)
I just couldn't stand my pointer being more oval as others so I shorten them today. Although it wasn't so obvious but my eyes always noticed it. :/
I hope you're having a great and relaxing weekend! It's so cold here so I stayed in bed for whole day yesterday and today - perfect weather for being lazy! :P
I was too lazy to post aynthing this weekend. :$ On Friday I got results from the last exam and I passed it! With even better grade I expected! So I passed ALL exams I had. :e I just started typing my thesis because I have a month to complete it and we'll see if I'll graduate till September. :) Thanks for all your kind words and support! :h I think I found a perfect reward for myself and if everything goes like I planned, you'll see it soon! :)
I spent my whole weekend on pool with friends, got tanned and a tiny sunburn on my back, but I had a great time. :) I wore 108 Degrees till Saturday, which started chipping because of water so I decided to put something really shiny on my nails. :D
I got this polish from my lil' sister Veri a while ago but I didn't use it till yesterday. Golden Rose Nail Art #112 is a nail art polish full of holographic glitter in clear base. Its brush is tiny but it wasn't hard to apply polish all over the nail. Surface is gritty after a coat of this pretty polish so I added a coat of TC to smooth it.
Because it's quite sheer first I added 2 coats of China Glaze - Cheers to you, a silver foil polish, which I got from Biba. :h
You can't see its beauty in shade or daylight, but you'll be blown away how sparkly can be this pretty on sun! :)
Let's start with daylight picture... See, it's still pretty but this isn't it! :i
Daylight
Then I had so many problems to catch its beauty on sun. xo Holographic glitter didn't show up on picture at all, but I could easily see it with my eyes. This is the best I'd capture. :)

See what I'm talking about? :L I feel sooo good with a great polish like this on my nails. 8) I think Essence - Hello Holo is same like this Golden Rose, so if you love holographic glitter, then you need it! :)
What do you think? Do you like this combo? :)
It just starts raining and I'm ready for a nap - there isn't better thing than sleeping in the summer afternoon when it's raining outside. :angel
Lovely Jessica from Born Pretty Store sent me a lot of new goodies to try out. Let's start with crackle polish I was most excited.
This is Kelier Crack Polish in Red. Color definetely isn't red but shimmery hot pink. I applied 2 coats of Cheers to you by China Glaze's last Holiday collection - silver foil polish. I waited just a few minutes so the second layer was half dry and then I applied 1 coat of crackle polish. You must apply it over not fully dry manicure or the crackle won't stay on your nail. When I got it I applied it over my dry manicure and I could wipe off the pieces of crackle.
I really don't like the brush - It's imprecise, plastic and nothing special, but you don't have to be careful while you're applying the crackle. I recommend you to clean the cuticle line quickly, because later it's really hard to remove crackle polish. I'm using a nail polish remover without aceton, but probably it would go faster with acetone.
This crackle doesn't start crackling quickly like OPI's, Barry M, etc. so you have to wait for few minutes or use a hair dryer like I was, so the process was even quicker.
I didn't apply any layer of TC, but if you want that your manicure last longer, you should. After long shower pieces of crackles fell off the nail, so don't forget to use a coat of TC to seal the crackle on the nail. If you want wider crackles apply a thick coat and if you want more crackles apply thinner coat and then the magic happens.

Shade
After using the crackle I recommend you to clean up the neck of the bottle, because it dries fast and when I opened a bottle there was a big piece of dry polish. It could seal the bottle.
I really like this kind of crackle effect, what do you think? Which one do you prefer more - this one or OPI's Black Shatter and similar? If it comes in pink, I really don't mind what kind of crackle it is.
You can buy this crackle here in 7 different colors (use a cuopon IVANA and get 10% discount), you can also enter my giveaway, where I'm offering 3 of them - this one, purple and blue one.
It was such a awful day for me today. First I woke up and my laptop didn't work properly at all. Windows 7 has crashed for no reason. I really don't know what happened, because it worked for almost a year without any tiny problem! I was soooo angry. I can't be without my computer at all, so I spent almost all day trying to fix it, but no success. So... I had to format it! And now my hard drive is empty, I've lost all my files - pictures, music, documents for school, movies,... But at least my laptop is working now like it has to. I will try to recover lost files, hope it'll work!!
And as if this wasn't enough I broke my nail while pushing the reset button on my old computer, because I wanted to find some informations on the internet what could be wrong with my laptop and in the middle of searching it's frozen. I was so mad so I filed them all down! Now my nails are weird... I really prefer this lenght of my nails like on the pictures below and not so short as now.
Right before I broke my nail I took a picture of violet/lilac foils from my collection. I pick these 3 for this comparison:
From L to R:
Essence TE Into the Ocean - Bubble Bubble
Essence TE Fairytale - Fairy Berry
S-he - 436
And in the same sequence on my nails... 2 coats of each.
Daylight, cloudy day
As you can see, Bubble Bubble and Fairy Berry are very very close, #436 is kind of colder violet than other 2. Their application was good, quick drying,...
And I changed a background and header of my blog, I'm still searching for perfect background picture, but I like it how it looks right now too. What do you think? Would you change anything?
It was a tough weekend for me... I studied hard and yesterday went really good on my exam, so I really hope I'll pass it, since it's the most uninteresting but also the hardest exam for me. If I'll pass this one, it will be much easier for me.
Till today I left 2 exams for summer, incuding the one I had today but I just couldn't make it since I gave all my attention to the exam I had yesterday! So bad! I hope these 2 will be the only 2 exams left, so I can graduate in September. I really want to end Faculty of Administration this year and countinue my study somewhere else!
I would also like to thank you to all my followers and readers and all kind bloggers who recently tagged me with so many awards. I will make a post about them in a few weeks, probably when my last exam end. Thank you again! It's so good to hear and know that you like my blog!
I was wearing S-he 436 for a few days now. I picked a polish that dries fast and last long. A violet/lilac foil was the best choice! For 1,95€ you get a perfect deal. This one was one of my first polish I have bought at the beggining of my polish addict career.
Cloudy day, daylight
It reminds me on Bubble Bath, some other very close dupes can also be Essence Purple Diamond and Fairy Berry from TE Fairytale. Do you like it? What are you wearing today?
It was such a nice sunny week and now I read that we can expect snow in next few days - seriously? It was so warm so I wouldn't mind if the Spring was already here.
I removed Pixie Dust and because I recevie Welcome to wonderland I decided to try it out. Welcome to wonderland is a cold nude with a touch of lilac, silver shimmer and foil finish. Application was easy just like with Pixie Dust, I added 3 coats on pointer and middle finger and 2 on others. I think it looks better with 3. It dries fast, so it's perfect when you don't have a lot time for manicure.
Here are my short nails.
Flash
My pointer is now really weird, why did you break?
I already removed it because I recevied Alessandro Go Magic! Twist magnetic polish and I made a skittles mani with all my magnetics... I'll show you pictures tommorow!
