Señorita Bonita & Forget Now Gradient

Gradient is a new huge trend going on right now so I definitely will make more gradients in the future, because I'm really a big fan! It looks like your nails were done by professional, but all you need is a piece of sponge, 2 or more polishes and you're ready to go. :i

When my previous manicure started chipping, I decided to upgrade it with a gradient. :L Since I already had this blueish pink, I decided to go with a pink and purple.
The purple I used is Señorita Bonita from China Glaze's Summer Island Collection (really gorgeous purple with tiny pink flakes), the pink is Forget Now from Sinful Colors. First I wanted to use 108 Degrees, also by China Glaze, but since I spilled out a few ml of this gorgeous polish, I checked my stash and found a dupe, yay! So yes, 108 Degrees and Forget Now are really really close. :)

I think I sponged 3 times, mostly because I wanted to cover my ring finger with Waking Up in Vegas, but 2 would be enough on other nails.

I just love this blurry picture I took. <3

Ring Finger: Essence - Waking up in Vegas / 1 coat

Sponging: China Glaze - Señorita Bonita & Sinful Colors - Forget Now

I just love how these 2 looks together! It looked even yummier as a base color I had on before sponging. :L Sometimes it looked like I was wearing a duochrome. :)

What do you think about this color combo? :) Did you already master this gradient technique? :) If you're searching for a tutorial, don't forget to check Sammy's amazing tutorial!

There's still time to vote for BM's contest, you can find the links in the right sidebar or in my previous posts! I know I'm spamming you with these links all the time. :$

Have a lovely weekend and thanks for reading!

Step by Step: Gold Glittery Zebra Print

I'm seeing Easter nails everywhere but I must say I'm not in Easter mood at all, probably because I still can't believe it's already April. :/ Well, I ate already tons of chocolate eggs. :$ I hope I'll make an Easter mani till next week, when we're celebrating an Orthodox Easter. :)

My nails really make me sad for months now and I can't find a reason why are they peeling so much, so of course I filed them down to nubs again. I have some peelies down to the nail bed so they need to grow out but even when they grow out, they start peeling on the same place. Annoying! :)

Oh well, when I'm having nubs, I tend to use something really neutral or when I'm in the mood, I do something crazy and fun and make them at least prettier with a design. :D So, I had this lovely combination in my minds and it turned out just perfectly.... Just like the title says: Gold Glittery Zebra Print. <3

They look so good on picture. :D It looks like I spent hours on doing them, but I was done so fast - just a fun layering and stamping and you get nails like this. :) It's very similar to the first Purple Sparkly Zebra Print I did months ago. :) I took pictures of all steps so I'm posting them here as a Step by Step "tutorial", but this is far from a tutorial, because it's really really easy. :D But in case someone who doesn't have an idea how to achieve nails like this, I posted all pictures, so more after a click.

Essence - You're my Dragonfly, Sugar!

The weekend is almost gone and I'd love to have a few days more just for sleeping and resting. :/ Oh well, I can't wait another Friday to be here. :e

It's NATventURista Time. :D When I saw swatches of this whole collection, I decided that I don't need anything. But when you find an untouched rack, which usually never happen, I decided to buy at least something. :D

You're my Dragonfly, Sugar! is a peachy nude with tiny silver glass flecked glitter. It's more on a sheer side so I had to add 3 coats for a full opacity. Well, I love the final result. <3 I just didn't like the brush, I went to find more pics about this polish and I stumbled upon this post at Mai senza smalto! and her brush was wonky as mine. I usually don't open any bottles in store but from now on, I definitely will especially when I'm buying Essence, because this was not the first wonky brush I got from them. :) On warm daylight look more peachy as on cold daylight as you can see on the 2nd photo.

Here's a bottle detail. <3 First I though that this shimmer won't be visible on nail but it is. :) I also love the cap detail, so cute. :)

This is my favorite polish from NATventURista Trend Edition. What do you think? Do you like it? I wanted to stamp it but my base coat wasn't cooperating with this beautie so after 2 days I peeled it off and my nails are still naked. :D As you can see, they're short too, I broke a middle finger while sleeping so I decided to shorten them a bit. But they're growing back, yay. :e

Thanks for reading!

China Glaze - Strawberry Fields

There's something about this polish that makes me fell in love with everytime I see it in my stash. <3 I think I wore it twice already, that happens rarely. :) These pictures are from May that's why my nails are shorter. :) It's much prettier in RL as on pictures, that's for sure.
Strawberry Fields (what a lovely name <3 ) from China Glaze's Summer Days Summer 2009 collection is a medium pink nail polish with golden glass fleck shimmer, which makes it so special. <3 Darker base with similar shimmer is Ahoy!. Both are really stunning so I'm so happy I have them in my collection.

I think I added 2 coats. :)

I'm sharing these swatches with you because I've nothing new to show you. I still have to post another great package I got days ago but I don't want to post swaps everyday.

I hope you're having a great weekend! :rainbow

China Glaze - 108 Degrees

This polish is rocking on my nails for few days now and every day I love it even more. 108 Degrees is part of China Glaze's Island Escape Summer 2011 collection - stunning rich pink glass flecked polish with a flawless application. Shimmer inside is fuchsia and silver, pure love. :L

I added 3 coats to hide my nail line, which is still visible on pictures but not in real life. It dries super fast so even 3 coats aren't much for this beauty. :L It's actually really hard to capture shimmer on sun, my phone went crazy. :D

Here you can see this shimmer, which makes it even more special.
Shade
I can only say this: Perfection! :L I'm so mad on myself that I spilled out a lot of polish - well not a lot, there's still so much left but every ml is important for me, especially if I like color so much as this one. :c It's perfect for summer, especially for your toes, so you just must have this beauty. :D Who cares for a ruined carpet, I only care for polish! :O

Do you like it? What's your favorite polish from Island Escape collection?

China Glaze - Ahoy! with Gold Glitter Goddess

It's so sunny outside, so bright, so beautiful. :L
I wanted to try one of my new holos but I put gold glitter on my ring finger yesterday and I thought they wouldn't match so I pick another stunning polish which is a must-have definetely. :$

Ahoy! is the only polish from Anchors Away Spring collection that I wanted badly. Nothing new. :P I added 3 coats but even 2 would be enough. It's a raspberry jelly base with gold glass flecked shimmer. :L Amazing!! Like I said, I added Milani Jewel FX - Gold yesterday just to see how it looks like on me - 2 coats and then I added just a few drops and help myself with a toothpick to cover the empty space. :L I can't even imagine how would it look like if I had Gold on all my nails but it definetely would be special and stunning. :) I added 1 coat of TC just to smooth the surface.

My pictures don't show how beautiful Ahoy! actually is. :( I hope I'll graduate till September and get myself a new camera (I wish :$ ).
And why is my pinkie darker than other nails - IDK. :D I guess Gold glitter just made my camera go crazy just a little, because they all look same when I look at them.

Sun
Daylight
I loooooove it! It's so sparkly and looks soooo delicous. :P What do you think about this color combo?

I hope you're having a great Sunday! Spring'll just start - finally! :e

Essence - Choose Me!

I'm sure you already saw it a million times, but here it is again.sengihnampakgigi

Choose me! is the cheapest dupe of Zoya - Charla, OPI - Catch me in your net and Orly - Halleys Comet . I bought it just because you all love it! A blue/green nail polish with silver, green and blue glitter, looks like glass flecked glitter on nails.senyum

I add 2 coats, no topcoat on! It dries fast, so I didn't have to put it on fast dry TC. My tips aren't visible like on picture.

It's so hard to capture real color of this one, it's something between blue and green.

Here is one photo of a buckeye tree in front of my house. Fall is here!

Thanks for watching!

S-he - 467

Hello,

what a boring day. I just don't know what do to with myself. I think I'll start studying. Yeah, right. Maybe tommorow?

Let me show you one beautiful polish I got from my neighbour Veri. I helped her with maths and she knows how to make me happy - just give me any polish and I'm happy. Thank you again, Veri!

S-he #467 - Polishes without name are so booooring... Please give them names, it would be more interesting. I add 2 coats, it's like pink with glassy flecked shimmer. Application was great, dries very fast... Love it!
