Pink & Orange Gradient Nails

I'm a big fan of sponging so I had to try out this technique too, because the final result is just so pretty. :)

I'm talking about gradient nails, which are very easy to make but they look so gorgeous! This is the first time I tried it and I think I'll do more in the future. I only have one crappy picture, because Fancy Fuchsia is really hard to capture and all pictures are even worse and color inaccurate. :/

I saw this technique with 4 colors a while ago on YouTube, but since my nails are short, I decided to go with just two - pink and orange. :)
The secret is applying both colors on the sponge (I'm using kitchen sponge). Then you press the sponge on the surface (paper, foil, plastic cup,...) to remove excess and sponge your nails. This is how you get a thin coat with gradient effect. To get a full opacity, you should re-apply nail polish to the sponge and do the same steeps couple of times but always wait till bottom layers are almost dry so you don't ruin it.
I also tried it without pressing the sponge on the surface first. I sponge directly on the nail and move the sponge a bit up and down so the colors really get mixed on the nail and you get a bit more opaque coat, which I prefer a bit more. :)
When you're done, don't forget to clean up your cuticles, because they can get really messy, apply a coat of top coat and you're done. :)

Wet n Wild - Sunny Side Up

I'm seeing a lot of Halloween manicures and I wanted to do one also, but didn't have any idea. So I picked just one orange nail polish that I got in swap with Carolina.

I usually don't wear orange nail polishes, because I don't like orange, but this one I really like. Why? It's kind of bright orange jelly and so easy to apply. I added 3 coats, application was really great, brush also is perfect... It's always great to find another good brand.

I wanted to add some designs but I'm not good in doing that and I don't have any Halloween patern on my image plates, so I left it like that.

I'm so sad because I got herpes on my upper lip today! That's the only thing I really really HATE! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr...........

Take care,
Ivana

China Glaze - Peachy Keen

I have another beauty from China Glaze Up & Away c0llection - Peachy keen which I get from lovely Carolina. menari

It's a bright peachy with a little orange color in it. It's so bright and beautiful creme nail polish. I'm sure I'll use it for fall and winter to colorize my life. I realy like having a bright nails because then I feel better. I never match my outfits and nails, just in special occasions or something like that, but usually I pick a color which I really want to have or like or love. Do you match your nails with your outfits all the time?

I add 2 coats and Seche Vite TC.love Picture was taken outside on a cloudy day.

Essence - What do you think? + Konad

Good Morning!

I upgraded my manicure that I showed you here yesterday with konad. I used image plate M78 and Essence Show Your Feet - Hot red.

I'm not happy with the result. Stamp doesn't work as usuall, maybe it was too hot and the nail polish dries quicker? Well, at least I have reason to remove this mani and make the new one.

Do you have any problems with stamping when is very hot or am I just so clumsy?

Have a nice day ladies!

Essence - What do you think?

Hello Hello,

it's a sunny day... Yaaaaaaaay, love it!

Today I'll show you Essence - What do you think? It's a creamy orange polish, application is more than great, it dries quick, no bubbles - it can't be better. Color&Go polishes are the best!

I add 2 coats, maybe it would be better if I added one more.

This polish is very similar to Catrice - I scream Peach - you can see the comparison here, made by lovely lady, Ana. And I think I read somewhere, that is also similar to Chanel - Orange Fizz. So cool, right?

Do you like it? Do you own it?
