I'll take you to the Candy Shop

Am I the only one who have 50 Cent's Candy Shop beat and music in my head when I see Candy Shop? Such an old song that brings me back to childhood when I thought he was singing about lollipops. :D

Anyway.... Candy Shop from Claire's is a good substitute for Deborah Lippmann's guess which one? Yes, Candy Shop. :D They're not dupes but they're really very very close. Here you can see a great comparison post at Sincerely Stephanie. :) Since I got this one, I really don't need the other one. :)

I expected much worse application but it went on like butter. I added 2 coats, glitter stayed flat but I still added a coat of top coat. There's still some VNL so I should maybe add another coat, but it wasn't so obvious in person.

There's a lot of going on in this polish... Multicolored hexagonal glitter and round tiny glitter in a sheer jelly light pink base. :L I'll definitely wear it soon again, because it's sooo gorgeous! I removed it with a foil method, so no rubbing was needed. :)

Do you like Candy Shop? :D

My baby boy got neutered today. He's still a bit angry and ignoring me... :)
This picture was made right before we went to the vet...
And when we came home... So sleepy and dizzy... Awwwwwww. :k
I'm so happy this is behind both of us, because I was so stressed out these days. He's already jumping and playing around. :)

Have a lovely weekend dear readers and thanks for reading!

Flakie Jelly Sandwich

Yap, after glitter sandwich I had to try flakie jelly sandwich. ^_^

I saw that Deborah Lippmann released a new gorgeous polish named Sweet Dreams. You can see gorgeous swatches at The PolishAholic. <3 It's a pink jelly full of gold flakies and of course I would love to have it but first I need to save some money to get this beauty. :i In the meanwhile, I made my own version. I didn't come up with a dupe, but it's close enough for me.

I started with a coat of OPI's Too Hot Pink to Hold 'Em from Texas collection. I just love all jellies I have from this collex. :L Then I added a coat of Essence - Waking Up in Vegas, another coat of OPI, another coat of flakies and finished it with the last layer of pink jelly. Lots of coats but it's so worth it. :) I also added a coat of TC for fast drying and glossy shine. :L

Flakies aren't super visible on sun but you can still spot some orange reflection. :) Nail line isn't visible as much as it shows on pictures, it's still there but I don't mind it, because I just love jelly finish. It looks like I'm wearing candies on my nails. :D

What do you think? Do you already tried sandwich like this? It tastes delicious. :P I definitely need more flakies in my life, especially in other colors, for now I own just pinks. :D

Thanks for reading and have love start of the week! :rainbow

China Glaze - Ruby Pumps

What did you pick to wear on the 1st December? :i I decided to go with something red and sparkly. :)

There's something about this red polish that doesn't make me feel old when I wear it. :D If you say Christmas, I think of Ruby Pumps - red, glittery, sparkly. <3 I'm sure you all saw it so many times, but here it's once again. :$

Ruby Pumps is a reddish jelly base with lots of golden red glitter. I added 2 coats, great application, fast drying time and my nails are so sparkly. :) I just noticed that there are 2 version of this beauty and I have no idea which one is this. Oh well, both versions are beautiful. :)

All pictures below were taken under daylight bulb and black background.

It's hard to capture all its beauty on picture so you must believe me that this beauty is amazing in person. :) I took blurred picture to show you how it sparkles and even this picture doesn't show all it gorgeousness.

Believe me, you need this one. :) What do you think? Do you already have it?

Have a nice and relaxing weekend! :rainbow

Cracklly Sandwich

Yesterday I's inspired by Stéphanie from So Nailed and her amazing manicure. I saw it before at Fashion Polish but I wasn't so interested probably because it's not in pink. :D
I do not have such a talent for pictures like Stéphanie (if you don't know what I'm talking about, just check her blog ;) ) but I did my best to catch this pretty combination. :D

I already had Back to the 50's on my nails, I'm actually quite happy that I'm not the only one who feels too young with red on my nails. :$ I didn't want to remove it so I decided to try Cracklly (Crackle-Jelly) Sandwich.

I layered one coat of write crackle Lightning Bolt from China Glaze and then 2 coats of OPI sorbet from Texas collection - Do you Think I'm Tex-y?. Do you Think I'm Tex-y? is a really lovely delicious berry pink jelly, I can never have enough of jellies. :L They dry fast and they're sooooo shiny, that's why I love them. :$

It looks so squishy, like delicios candy. :L Here's the final result. :)

What do you think? Do you like it? :) Did you ever try a layering like this? What's your favorite jelly? :)

Take care,

Houston We Have a Purple with Prancer Mattified

Hiya! :)
I'm still wearing and enjoying my Funky French Skittles so I'll have to show you something else. I showed you Houston We Have a Purple few days ago but I decided to upgrade it somehow. :i I's seeing mattified glitter all around so I wanted to try it out and that's why I'm posting matte first although I wanted to show you shiny version first. :D
I added 1 coat of Wet'n'Wild Prancer (red hexagonal and small glitter in a clear base)  and 1 coat of Essie - Matte About You.
Daylight
Weak sun
Mattified glitter looks sooooo amazing! And flakies too but I need to try that one day too (probably when I get my hands on some Nfu.OH flakies). :i

That's all for today, I'm sooo sleepy so I'm going to take a nap for an hour or two. :)

OPI - Houston We Have a Purple

I'm starting a weekend with a sorbet a.k.a jelly. :D When I first saw promo pictures of OPI Texas collection I was like - "Nah" I don't need them... But never say that before you see real swatches. :i I'm big fan of jellies but they're so hard to find - Essence had one jelly (So Wanted) and even this one was discountinued! :(

So I had to have all pinks from Texas collection. :i Wearing a sorbet is like having candy on my nails, strange. :i I picked Houston we have a purple for today - I actually had 2 bottles, which I got from Leslie and Carolina in our swaps, so I gave one bottle away to my lil' sister Veri - she's so happy because this's her first OPI. I can totally feel her because I's in seventh heaven when I bought my first OPI (We'll Always Have Paris Suede). :i

Houston We Have a Purple (what a great name :i ) is a dark magenta purple sorbet polish. It's definetely one of my favorite. I added 3 coats, because they're sheer as I expected, but the applicaiton is easy, I don't know about drying time because I immediately added one coat of Essie - G2G.
Obviously there's VNL but I don't mind it and on pictures is shown even more than in RL. I had to play with setting to catch up its real color that's why my skin is pale too much.

Sun
Daylight
They're so super shiny, glosy and soooooo squishy. :D

Talking about squishy immediately reminds me of this scene from Finding Nemo with Dory (Nemo is definetely on of my favorite cartoons :i )...

Dory: " Hey little guy! I shall call him Squishy and he shall be mine, and he shall be my Squishy. Come here Squishy, come here little Squishy. OUCH! Bad Squishy! Bad Squishy! ..."  :O :O

Did you watch Finding Nemo? What do you think about this squishy polish? :i

Wish you a happy weekend!

Zoya - Mimi

I'm wondering why I didn't try Mimi before? :L I should! Another beauty which I got from Carolina! :h

Descripction from Zoya official site says: "Royal purple sparkling metallic. An expensive-looking metallic shade for spring." Mimi is from Zoyas Sparkle collection. :)
Grape pop jelly base with purple shimmer, which is kind of duochrome (see the bottle and the first picture). :) I added 2 coats for perfect opacity. I thought she'll need more layers because after one was very sheer but second coat make her perfect. I always call Zoya's polishes with "she" because they've so pretty names and I really can't say "it". :$

Daylight
I was taking pictures outside on a cloudy weather and wishing for some sun and after few minutes the sun started shinning. :D Mimi is really hard to capture, I took like million pictures and on the sun she always looks blue but she's not. :i But let's say I managed to capture her real color, she is warm purple for sure.

Sun
I won't spam with more pictures so I just picked the best ones. :)
She's even prettier in RL. :L I love it! What do you think about this beauty?

It's finally Friday and weekend! Woooooooooooooohoooooo! :e Time for sleeping, relaxing and just beeing lazy. :D Enjoy your weekend!

Catrice - Bloody Mary To Go

It's time for red. I usually don't wear red, because I'm not used to that kind of colors. But I really like how it looks Mary on me. Anyway, this is 2 coats of Bloody Mary To Go and 1 coat of TC. It's a perfect red jelly. Application is more than great, you can get away also with 1 coat if you're careful but I added 2, just to be sure everything is OK.

I'm still not satisfied with the shape of my pointer, but slowly I'll get to that shape I want. malu

Sun
Daylight
It looks orangey on the first picture, because my phone didn't want to coopeare with me. I think I found perfect red jelly, now I'm searching for a perfect dark red. Which one is you favorite dark red?

Btw... Thank you all for entering my little giveaway. Your comments are sooooo sweet, they made me happy!peluk

Have a great and sunny Sunday!

Zoya - Roxy

Description from Zoya's official site says everything:

"Zoya Nail Polish in Roxy can be best described as: A sheer red-toned purple base loaded with bright purple glitter. A must-have shade for any rock star or glamour girl."

It looks like a raspberry jam! So yummmmi! I saw many swatches of this beauty but in RL is even prettier! A must-have!

I add 2 coats, application was great, I really like the brush. You have to add TC if you want the surface to be smooth. First picture was without TC and others with.

Under light
I it! What do you think? Thank you Carolina for sending me this beauty.peluk

It was snowing yesterday and we have really a lot of snow now. It looks beautiful but it's also so coooold!sedih One extra picture, Roxy with snow.ihikhik

How was your day today? I woke up late and now I'm going to watch TV all night long. Lazy, lazy days... It feels so good when you don't have to do anything!malu

Essence - So wanted + BM

Here I'm with my manicure. senyum

I picked a pinkish red jelly - So wanted, which I already showed you here. I have a back-up of this one, because I really love how it looks like candies and Essence stopped selling it. So bad, because it's really a pretty shade.

I add 3 coats and 1 coat Seche Vite. Then I used BM02 for Lips pattern and BM09 for Love design and Essence Nail Art Stampy polish - Stamp me! white.

Simple and I like it!senyum

Happy Thanksgiving to all who celebrate!

Essence LE Eclipse - Undead?

Do you want to see something new? Here it is! Black polish on my nails! I don't like it! My mother asks me, if something is wrong with me. ihikhik

Undead? is a black jelly base nail polish with silver and pink shimmer. I add 2 coats, it dries fast so I didn't use a TC.

Shimmer is more visible in bottle as on nails.

What do you think? Does black look good on me? I really don't like it, pink is definetely my favorite color! ihikhik
