Inspired by: Sophy Robson EEK Nails

Yap, another inspired by manicure. :) Thanks to everyone who left a comment on my last post, I was so happy when I saw you like it so much and I didn't expect a feedback like that. ^_^

I tried to find more manicures and when I saw this manicure, I had to try it out. It's simple but cute! :L

Here's a picture:
http://www.sophyrobson.com
This manicure was done by successful Sophy Robson, who paints the nails of celebrities. :) All the colors were made just for the Giles SS11 Show.

I tried to match the colors but I just couldn't find any similar blues in my stash. It looks like a blue with green undertones and I don't like them so I picked another one instead.
I made googly eyes with dotting tool and black and white polish. This manicure is so simple but it looks so cute. :)

Stargazer - 307

I owe you swatches of Stargazer #307, right? :) As I told you before, I got this polish from Esther at Fab Fingertips months ago and never had a chance to try it out. I wanted Space Cadet (Orly) for ages so Esther kindly sent me this polish instead, because it's supposed to be Space Cadet's dupe. :) Thanks Esther! <3

Stargazer #307 is more on a sheer side, I think I needed 4 coats for full opacity but it's definitely worth it. I like everything about this polish except the green shade which was visible most of the times under lamps and it drove me crazy, because I can't stand green on my nails. :) I will have to wear it on a daylight to see if I'll change my minds. :D

This beauty is multichrome foil with teal base - you can spot green, pink, purple, yellow and bronze color. I took all this pictures under daylight bulb.

I wasn't satisfied with pictures and my fingers posing, that's why I made this collage of pics to show you how green can this polish be. :D

I'm really loving Elsa's round pictures, hope she won't mind if I start using them too. :$

Stargazer - #307 / 4 coats

What do you think? It's also great base for stamping like I showed you here. :)

Do you own Space Cadet or any of its dupes? :) Like I said, it's way to green for my taste so I'm having bigger hopes for Models Own - Pinky Brown. :$ What's your favorite multi or duochrome?

Thanks for reading!

Essence - Mellow Yellow

I had yellow nails and I loved it! :L I tried Mellow Yellow a while ago and I liked it so much, but I failed with nail art so I had to remove it. :D
I added 2 coats, I thought it was OK but while watching this pictures I know I'd have to add another one. :$ Another pretty shade from Essence, looks so fresh and perfect for summer. :)

Here's a bottle comparison with mini Orly - Lemonade. They're very close, Essence is a tiny bit more yellow, but of course you can't see that on this picture. :D I don't think you need both though.

Do you wear yellow on your nails? What is your favorite yellow nail polish?

Sinful Colors - Innocent

Are you already tired of pastels, pinks,... on my blog? :)

I've got something special for today, because I still have to upload pictures of Agent Lavender with some stamping I did yesterday, I will post them tommorow. I was Fiona for just few minutes, because having Ogre nails didn't work for me at all. :D
I'm a big fan of Shrek - one of my favorite cartoon ever! :L I got this polish in my latest swap with Carolina and everytime I was watching it in a box, I didn't have courage to try it. :D But today I changed my mind.
Innocent is my first Sinful Colors - yellow green creme with good application, I added 2 coats. :)

Sun
Shade
Daylight
I removed it like 5 minutes after I took the pictures and my fingers looked clean under lamp in my room, I'm really not used to this color on my nails. But when I went to the store with naked nails, I realized I have green fingers and it looked horrible outside. I was hiding my hands in pockets all the time. :i

So, what do you think about this Shrek color? Like it or not? Would you wear it or not? :)

Edit 3/21 -This Innocent Sinful Color isn't sooo innocent. It stains like hell! :( I didn't know why just 4 of my nails are really yellow... I put this color just for half an hour just on 4 nails so I could take this pictures and after removing it I's constantly applying another polish that's why I didn't even noticed till few days ago. Be sure you'll put at least 2 coats of BC!

Giraffe Manicure

Yesterday I was reading blogs I follow as usual and I saw this cute tutorial for Giraffe Manicure at Katrina's Nail Blog. She really did an amazing job!sembah Thank you for the tutorial, it's really helpful!

I was really impressed with it, because it's so cute and adorable, but I didn't think I'll do it too, well not yesterday. I had in plan to remove Rich & Famous, but then I give a giraffe a try, but I wasn't sure if I could do it. I really don't have a hand for any nail art, so I just love konad for upgrading my manicures. ihikhik

I choose different color for base and for dots, but I did a quite similar giraffe as Katrina, but my giraffe isn't so adorable like her. All I've used is on this picture.

Base color: China Glaze - Rich & Famous
Dots on giraffe: Essence LE Into the Wild - Desert Fox
Dots: Essence LE Sun Delicious: Sunny Side Up
TC: Seche Vite Dry Fast TC

I don't have a dotting tool, so I had to improvise. I tried with toothpick, pencil,... but it didn't work. But then I try a ballpoint and it worked!!! Dots aren't so round but for the for the first time of doing this I was quite satisfied.

So, here is the picture of my version of Giraffe Manicure.sengihnampakgigi

What do you think - Fail or success?? Maybe it would be better with other colors and not pink. It's really not difficult so if I can make it, everyone can!kenyit If anyone will do this manicure, please let me know I would really love to see them.

Happy Sunday!

Essence LE Cute As Hell - Naughty But Nice + Konad

Well, let me show you my latest manicure. I use Essence – Naughty but nice, pastel yellow polish. I add 2 coats. This polish is from Limited Edition Cute As Hell. Polish is really cute, but problematic as hell. I have pastel pink and lilac also and when I apply them, there are so many bubbles! I am very disappointed, because I really love these shades. With top coat bubbles aren’t visible so much, but still they make me very nervous, because I want perfect manicure.

Picture was taken on cloudy weather, because there was no sun.

Then I add konad (I’m still a beginner ). I just have bought 2 konad image plates, M64 and M78 and I’m still learning how to make perfect konadicure. I’m trying, I’m trying…
So I used M64 with Essence Show Your Feet – Hot red. These polishes are very good for konad.

And this is the final result:

Do you like it? My mother doesn’t like it, because she thinks that yellow color is not for nails, but I don’t mind, because she doesn’t know how beautiful color is yellow.

BTW do you watch World Cup??? I’m sure you do. Who do you think will win this cup?

Love,

Ivana
