Leopard Print

Time flies by just too fast. :/ I don't have a lot of time for nails but I finally took some time to remove my previous manicure and make something quick but cute. :) I'm in a brown period lately so I wanted to have something brown on my nails too and what's better than leopard print? :)

I started with one coat of BS and Essence - Zulu (light gray creme with plastic finish) just to give my nails a color. I decided to sponge Desert Fox (greyish brown), also from Essence, and Warm & Fozzie (brown copperish duochrome) from OPI to get a little shimmery look. :) I stamped leopard pattern with BPS M57, as I already told you that the patterns are small so I had to double or triple, but I didn't have problems with placing the pattern to look like I didn't have to stamp twice. :) I added some dots with 2030 from China Glaze - gold metallic color and a layer of TC to finish my whole manicure.
When I made it yesterday I wasn't sure if I like but as soon as I saw it on sun, I love it! :)

What do you think? I will probably wear it for whole this week. <3 Do you like wearing animal prints? Which one is your favorite? Mine are probably leopard and zebra. :)

Thanks for reading and have a lovely day! :rainbow

OPI - Planks a Lot

I'm soooooooooo tired. xo My school started this week and I have a feeling that I'll need to work 10 times harder than before. New faculty, new people, I don't know anyone... Totally new beggining for me. This week was even worse, with a tootache, lacking of sleep and all that stress about school - nah, I just need a loooong sleep to be normal again. :/

I had to put something on my nails, because I'm sure no one wants to see my stained nails, right? :D I choose Planks a Lot from OPI's Pirates of the Carribean Spring 2011 collection, which I got in my latest swap with Lynsey. :h I know it's a color from spring collection but this is a perfect fall color for me. :)

Planks a Lot is a dusty greyish lilac creme polish with great application. I added 2 coats and a coat of TC. I didn't like it at first when I applied it at night, but when I saw it on sun and daylight, I started to loving this shade. <3 It's not fotogenic, I'd say it's more grey in person. :)

Do you like it? What's your favorite from this collection? I really like this collection but the colors have nothing in common with Pirates. I expected more darker colors. :)

I hope you're having a great week! I got one really amazing package all the way from Canada again and I can't wait to take some decent photos of my new babies and one of my biggest lemmings ever. <3

Nighty night,

Brown/Taupe Comparison

I got S-he - #500 from my friend to try it out. First I wanted to paint all my nails with it, but I change my mind when I put it on my pinkie. So I decided to try other brown/taupe polishes from my collection.

From L to R:
S-he -#500
Essence LE Into the Wild - Desert Fox
Essence LE Creamylicious - Chocolate Shake
Essence LE Into the Wild - Zulu

Hmm... How would I describe these colors? #500 and Desert Fox is brown/taupe cremes. These 2 could be dupes or very very close, but I think that #500 is more brown than Desert Fox. Chocolate Shake is a brown with cooper shimmer nail polish and Zulu is a light grey with a touch of brown creme. Zulu dries in plastic-satin finish, it's not matte, but for this comparison I added 1 coat Seche Vite.

I like Chocolate Shake most and even Zulu with TC looks beautiful. Chocolate Shake was one of my first polishes I bought when I became obssesed with polishes and TE from Essence. sengihnampakgigi

Which one do you like?

I'm going to paint my nails with PINK!

Color Club - Uptown Girl + BM

As I said yesterday I stamped this beauty Uptown Girl. I used the pattern from BM20 and the most beautiful holographic purple polish - Wild at heart from Color Club. It's really great for stamping, you must have it!sembah

Only for my pinkie the pattern was big enough, for all other nails I stamped once whole pattern and then patiently stamped stripe by stripe to fill the rest of my nail. I find it easier to stamp one by one, because you can't afford any mistakes with these stripes if you want your mani is perfectly stamped.

I must say I love it and it reminds me on a gift wrap. senyumkenyit What do you think?

It's a cloady day, so I took one photo with flash, to capture the holographic effect, but the base color is little less purple than here.

This pattern is one of my favorite, so bad Konad doesn't have it on their image plates. I will write more about all-over patterns from Konad and BM plates in one of my next posts.

I'm in a hurry because I have to remove my mani, not because I don't like it but I want to try Savita immediately. I'm finally going to cinema with my friend to watch Saw 7 3D. Can't wait! senyum

Hope you're having a great end of the week!

Take care,

Color Club - Uptown Girl

Nightmare...tension It was so hard to capture its real color. Really! I have so many pictures where is too much brow or grey or purple. But today was such a bright day, so it helps me a lot with capturing real color.

Uptown girl is a greyish purple with touch of brown? creme nail polish. I would say - Mauve taupe color. senyum It's also hard to describe it. I add 3 coats and 1 coat Seche Vite. I didn't have any problems with application, one Color Club more that I really like.

Pictures are a little fuzzed, because I forgot to set up on macro.

I think it's really perfect for fall. I'm still not sure if I like how it looks on me, we'll see. ihikhik

Next step will probably be stamping. menari
