It's such a grey rainy lazy day today and because I really didn't know what to do with myself, I decided to try water marbling. I used to do more of them in the past and I can't believe I didn't try any since I started this blog. :D So here's my first water marble featured on this blog...
I used some of the colors from my favorite China Glaze collection Up & Away and the final results reminds me of candies. :) It's absolutely not perfect but I'm happy with the final result...

Base:
OPI Nail Envy Nail Strengthener
OPI - Sweet Heart / 1 coat
Water Marble:
China Glaze - Heli-Yum
Beauty Secrets Top Coat Fast Finish Polish Dryer
I'd definitely try water marbling more often, because it really looks cute but I'm too lazy for that. :D What do you think about my manicure? Do you practice water marbling often?
If you want to see tons of amazing tutorials, check Colette and her blog My Simple Little Pleasures and her YouTube channel, because she's definitely a water marble queen. :)
Have a lovely day and thanks for reading! :)
Xoxo,
Ivana :k
Lovely Ivana! I don't water marble much, it just takes me so long! I have been wanting to try a few though.
ReplyDeleteThank you Tera! I totally agree, it really is time consuming, but the final result is so pretty. :) On a boring day, you know what you'll be doing. :P
DeleteIt's great! TBH it reminds me of a lollipop :D
ReplyDeleteI love watermarbled nails, but honestly I've never tried to do it myself. I'm a bit scared of the final result..I should try and practice, but it's a sort of reverential awe :D
Thank you! :) Yeah, I was deciding between candy or lollipop. :) Maybe you should start with accent nails so you get used to this technique and sooner or later you'll want a full mani. :D
DeleteThat's a great idea! In the end, better redo one nail than the whole hand, in cases "of emergency"! Thank you for your advice ;-)
DeleteTrue! And you're so welcome, I'm happy to hear someone finds my advices useful. :P
Deleteprelepo, Ivana!!!! Mene podsceca na svilene bombone :)
ReplyDeleteHvala Jelena! :)
Deletečudovito ti je uspelo <3
ReplyDeleteHvala Tinna! :h
Deletevery sweet and girly!
ReplyDeleteI totally agree. :$
DeleteI love this! Only tried the technique once. It's so time-consuming... :)
ReplyDeleteIt is but worth to try out more often! :)
DeleteOvo je za mene naucna fantastika :) Pokusala par puta, pa je laka bilo svuda osim na noktima :)
ReplyDeleteIh, pa i nije tako težko. :P Pokušaj po još koji put i znam, da će ti uspeti. :)
DeleteThis is so lovely! I love water marble manis, but they are so time consuming. This is definitely making me want to try again though...
ReplyDeleteI totally agree, that's why I'm not doing them so often. :) But we should try more often, because the result is just so pretty. :L
DeleteRes ti je super uspelo!
ReplyDeleteHvala Ana! <3
DeleteVaaau! <3
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I tried marbling a few times and was somewhat successful with it. I definitely want to get better though!
ReplyDeletePractice makes perfect! It can drives me crazy sometimes but once in a while I manage to do something like this. :D
