Halloween Manicure & Review

Long time no see, right? :P Being busy and lazy are the reasons for being away for almost a whole week. :$ I didn't expect I'll do a manicure for Halloween because we don't celebrate Halloween like some of you, but it's becoming more and more popular.

I got a chance to test out another product from Born Pretty Store. I saw a lot of amazing manicures made with Acrylic Color, that's why I always wanted to try it out.

Here's what I came up with for Halloween, but please keep in mind that I'm not good with free hand designs and this manicure obviously isn't perfect like I'd want it to be. :D

KIKO - #255 Viola Microglitter / sponged
Golden Rose Nail Art - #112
Beauty Secrets TC Fast Finish Polish Dryer

Huh lots of information. xD I was trying to find same set I got from Born Pretty, but I can't find it right now, but I think this one looks pretty similar. I got 12 tubes of 9 ml Acrylic color, 2 palletes for mixing the colors and 2 thin nail art brushes.

I really like this set, because you really get all you need for painting your nails. Acrylic color is really easy to work with and very pigmented so you don't need to paint twice or even more for fully opaque designs. I mix them with water to get that smooth formula. All you need is steady hand and lots of imagination for designs, just be creative! You get a whole set for around $10 but youcan also use code IRJ61 for 10% off on your order. ;)

So, what do you think? I was so proud when I got so many compliments for this manicure. :D Will you make a special manicure just for Halloween?

I wish you all an awesome weekend!

Xoxo,
Ivana :k

  12. Ivana this is so cute! You should definitely do more freehand nail designs =] That looks like a really good set. I always do my designs with polish, but I'm wondering if this would be easier? Want!!!!

  17. Thank you so much for stopping by and leaving a comment for this manicure. <3 You're all so sweet and I'm so happy to hear that you like it so much! :) It took me so much time but when I see all your comments, it was worth it. <3

@♥ Natalie: I didn't even try to do it on my right hand, I think that'd be a mess. xD

@Polish AMOR: It's so easier to work with acrylic paint, so you definitely need it. :P

@nail crazy: Tvoje Halloween manikure su odlične! :b

@Courtney: Absolutely! It dries faster than polish and colors are very pigmented, if you mess up, you can remove it with rubbing cotton pad soaked with water. :D You should at least try it to see if you like to work with them. :D Thanks for your lovely comment! :k

@ami: Thank you so much for the award. Wish I could comment on your blog, but something doesn't let me leave any comment. :/
